Instructor Introduction

Our training program is comprised of the finest instructors, each with extensive experience and expertise in their respective fields. With years of hands-on experience in vibration, bearings, and alignment, our instructors bring valuable knowledge and practical skills that can be immediately
applied in real-world scenarios.

Seungwon Lee

Seungwon Lee built extensive knowledge and experience in vibration measurement and assessment as a diesel engine performance test engineer at Doowon Precision.
In 1997, he joined Bano, where he began condition monitoring related to diagnosis for rotating equipment, serving as a specialist for technical support and training. He then moved to KTM Engineering, the CSI (currently Emerson) national distributor in Korea, where he was deeply engaged in vibration analysis and diagnostics. Seungwon Lee currently serves as Technology Manager/CEO at AST International Co., Ltd., and as an Adjunct Professor at Ulsan University.
He has lectured at various institutes on equipment diagnosis and provided technical advisory services for companies like Hanwha Energy and Samsung SDI.

Dongwoo Kim

Dongwoo Kim built his knowledge and experience as the manager of power train R&D team of Volvo Construction Machinery for 12 years. Based on his experience in power train R&D, he moved to Partech in 2004, a well-known vibration analysis system sales and service company with a long history, where, as a noise and vibration training and service specialist, he provided excellent service in the industry, such as natural frequency measurement of steam guides for Doosan Heavy Industry, extruder gearbox bearing failure analysis for Kumho Tire, 5MW wind turbine gearbox testing for Hyosung, and their overseas project as well.
He is conducting noise & vibration training and providing field services such as Natural Frequency tests, operational deflection shape (ODS) tests and Field Balancing Services.

Sangwon Kim

Sangwon Kim built his knowledge and experience as a designer of Wheel Loader Transmissions at Samsung Heavy Industries and Transaxle at Clark Material Handling Asia for 10 years.
After the 10 years of engineering designer, he joined Timken Korea and took a one-year bearing application training at the Timken’s headquarters as a bearing application engineer. Later he was promoted as the director of bearing application and service. In his 18 years of Timken, he preformed outstanding bearing engineering and service in diverse sectors like automotive, railway, power plant,  wind energy, metal and more.
His vast experience across industries ensures that participants gain crucial insights and practical knowledge relevant to various fields, enhancing their expertise in bearing applications and service engineering.

K R Oh

K.R. Oh built his knowledge and experience as a designer of Power Train Systems and Transmissions at Samsung Heavy Industries for 10 years. In 1999, he moved to SKF, where he founded and managed the Service Team at SKF Korea for 15 years, delivering vibration analysis, laser alignment, mechanical services, and related product sales. He also achieved ASNT Level II certification, becoming the first in Korea to do so. Drawing on 15 years of experience and research in the field of Laser Alignment, he pioneered the production of the first Laser Alignment System in Asia. Additionally, he conducts training in Laser Alignment that complies with API 686 standards.
